The real answer for me is I want to have sex every day but as the saying goes, The mind is willing but the flesh is weak.

I don't think you can generalize, or go by averages, everyone is different.  By "how often does a 70 year old man want sex" I presume you mean how often does he need (or want) to have an orgasm' that varies also.  In my own experience (I will be 87 in 4 months)  I find the need to have an orgasm is almost non-existant now, but I still enjoy masturbating every day.
