Maybe the problem is that people's sex drives rarely match; in any relationship one partner will inevitably have a sex drive higher than the other and so will never completely understand each other.  So what do you do if your partner doesn't want sex and you do?  Well, solo-sex will relieve your sexual tension.  Women are more likely to use vibrators or sex toys when they masturbate, I would guess that most men watch porn when they do. So what?  You are absolutely right, we should all be more honest with each other.

Because sexual desires are a purely individual desires, one should not berate the other for what turns them on sexually. There's a saying that goes "Don't yuck on someone else's yum". If it takes porn or toys to get your sexual satisfied it's perfectly fine. My wife is very open about her masturbating with her favorite toy. I have witnessed it many times.

We have a TV in our bedroom. Wife will watch some boring cream on TV like the history channel and asks why I always fall asleep instead of wanting sex,  Night over night. I told her to stop watching boring things on TV. I also told her that TV was put there for one reason, porn.

We do have sex and we don't need the porn to enjoy it. We have toys but she's not interested in them.

We have watched porn and used toys together but that seems like that came to an end.
