300 asylum seekers evacuated after fire on COA boat in Arnhem

A fire broke out on a boat in Arnhem on which refugees were being taken in by the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) on Friday night. The fire department deployed several units to fight the fire on the Nieuwe Kade in the capital of Gelderland. Eight people were checked for smoke inhalation, but did not have to go to hospital, a spokesperson for the safety region said.

The boat on which the fire raged was evacuated. A neighboring ship, also housing asylum seekers, was also evacuated, the security region reported. 300 refugees were accommodated on both boats together. They are now temporarily housed in the municipality's city offices. One person was missing but has since been found.

The fire broke out in the restaurant at around 1:45 a.m.

The smoke then quickly spread throughout the boat, the spokesman said. The fire was under control at around 03:30 a.m. The fire department will inspect both ships for smoke and then decide whether the asylum seekers can return.

According to Omroep Gelderland, arrangements have reportedly been made since 6 a.m. to ensure the return of the asylum seekers who were living on the neighboring boat. The safety region reported that the boat on which the fire was raging had been moved.

A study found the UK is the least sexually-satisfied country in Europe.

Only 37% of the 2,011 people asked said they were happy with their sex life.
Another 39% said they were "somewhat" satisfied, while a whopping 24% said they were not satisfied at all.

But there's some good news for Gen Z.

This group had the highest level of sexual satisfaction in the UK, with 48% saying yes when asked if they were satisfied. In fact, over half (51%) of women aged 18 to 24 to said they were sexually satisfied, compared to 45% of men in the same age group.

ISIS bride Shamima Begum will find out this week whether she has won a Court of Appeal bid over the removal of her British citizenship.

Begum travelled to Syria via Istanbul, Turkey, from Gatwick Airport to join ISIS in 2015 with her close friends at Bethnal Green Academy - Kadiza Sultana, 16, and Amira Abase, 15.

At the age of just 15 the 'straight A student' married a jihadi and began life inside one of the most savage terror groups in history.

But after being discovered in a refugee camp in Syria in February 2019 the schoolgirl turned ISIS bride had her citizenship was revoked on national security grounds by then-Home Secretary Sajid Javid.

Since then she has been locked in a legal battle with the British government to return home.

Ms Begum travelled to Syria to join the terror group in 2015 aged 15 and her citizenship was revoked on national security grounds shortly after she was found in a Syrian refugee camp in February 2019.

Last year, the now 24-year-old lost a challenge  against the decision at the Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC).

Ms Begum's lawyers brought a bid to overturn that decision at the Court of Appeal, with the Home Office opposing the challenge.

Four deaths in four months in an industry that already has for years had questions hanging over its head over the treatment of female adult performers has rocked the porn community to its core.
Sophie Anderson, Thania Fields, Jesse Jane, and Kagney Linn Karter have joined a growing list of porn star tragedies.
But this is not the first time there has been a rapid succession of deaths.

West End play about slavery tells white theatregoers they aren't welcome at all-black audience night

NEW Slave Play, starring Kit Harington, is coming to London's West End. But for two nights it will be open only to an 'all-Black identifying audience'.

It's not the first time theatre bosses have faced a backlash for so-called 'Black Out' events.

In May last year, London's Theatre Royal Stratford East was blasted after it said white patrons should not go to a performance of Tambo & Bones on July 5.

The theatre claimed it was so the audience could enjoy the play 'free from the white gaze' and that it was about creating a 'safe private' space to allow an 'all-black-identifying audience' to enjoy the show.

The agency is planning to launch naked pictures of humans into the depths of the galaxy in a bid to lure aliens to us.

Rather than actual photographs, though, they're pixellated drawings of a naked man and woman with a DNA model by their side. A message is also being sent containing a description of gravity.

The drawings are depicted as friendly, too, with the man and woman depicted waving in a bit to attract intelligent alien species.

It comes as part of a project called the Beacon in the Galaxy (BITG) which is attempting to communicate with intelligent life in the universe.

It's all being sent in the form of a binary code, and it's not the first time naked depictions of humans have been used to try and communicate in such a way.

The 1972 Pioneer 10 and 1973 Pioneer 11 missions both featured drawings on naked humans attached to the antennas on the crafts.
