I don't know about oral during a period, but it is a very bonding thing that a man does when he tells the woman, "Don't swallow it.  I want to kiss you and share it with you.  The "CUM KISS" can and should be expanded to taking the cum from her mouth and depositing bits of it around her body, ie. her nose, her nipples her eyelids, her clitoris, and whatever pleases you until you run out of cum.  Next time she can be the "depositer".
