I think I disagree entirely... all primates, obviously including every variation of human (don't get me started with taxonomy in the biological sciences...) anyway, all primates, are more or less violent assholes.  Humans have just become willing to weaponize pretty much everything. 

We "want" sex all the time simply because men, by nature, love to get off.  It's not any more complicated than that.  We realize that it is a wonderful stress release, it's entirely free, we're given a trillion nerve endings for a reason, we're given an imagination and curiosity and desire for a reason (a simple reason to be sure), and on average we're simple creatures.  Thru history all sorts of idiotic reasons and concepts have been dreamed up to suppress it, inevitably with disastrous results.  Yes there are a few isolated examples of denying nature and suppressing sexual desire which DIDN'T result in horrible consequences, but it's rare. Our brains just don't work that way.  I've been all over this crazy world, and I've lived and worked with many people from wildly different cultures.  If people would accept the FACT that we're not all the same, and let each other be----  let the people who want to continue to live in the stone age and dream up prophets and beat their women into submission do their thing....  Keep their hatred to themselves and not worry about it---  let others who are open to help anyone, use the knowledge and science and abilities we have to make a better world for whomever is able to benefit by it, let them do that... and not kill each other off in the mean time because of fantasies... if we could understand that, the world would be a wonderful place.  Just accept that we are NOT all the same... never have been, never will be.  Men want to have sex.  We just LIKE it.   

The other interesting thing is, because we human males are ALWAYS interested in breeding and need to empty our balls constantly, there is alot of excessive violence linked to us.  In the animal world there's a false saying that animals don't kill other animals except for food/self protection.  During the rut male deers routinely fight each other over sex and many are injured and sometimes killed, i'm sure it's the same with many mammals. 

Just think if we went into "heat" and "rut" there'd only be excessive violence/murders 2-3 months out of the year, lol!

It's a good thing many of us  to release our built up sperm!

i think we were given a very high sex drive because, unlike other mammels, human females don't go into "heat", in the classic sense that all other mammels do which mark the beginning of the mating period or "rut".  That's also (i believe) why human females always have swollen breasts, to turn us on.  In most of the animal/mammel world females and males pretty much ignore each other except during mating season.  Just my 2cents!

I think that depends on who we are with at any given time.
With my first serious partner, sex wasn't a big thing.
Yes, we did it often bit not very adventurously.
