That's a very good point. The culture wars out there marginalize trans people and it continues to get worse. Besides the sexual part of all of this, I have always tried my best to just be kind, courteous and respectful when meeting transgenders (or anyone else, for that matter). When I worked in retail, I often had customers who were transitioning and I  never treated them as a sex object or was condescending in any way. I simply did my best to just treat them like any other customer. I worked in Home Depot after retiring from my trade but I never acted like I was ever better than anyone because they didn't have my extensive experience and knowledge. It was always greatly appreciated by my customers.
 On the sexual side of this, my experience has always been with paid escorts. But even in that case, there is sometimes an underlying emotional element. Well, I'll be 67 in October and I still orgasm a lot whether by masturbating or having sex with a partner. I don't know if everyone is the same, but I find that masturbating has greatly changed over the years. In my own experience when I started having orgasms at the tender age of 9 that was the object. to have an orgasm and that continued for many years, to have as many orgasms as possible.  Yet I can truthfully say that I have never felt sated or really satisfied for sex no matter how many orgasms I had in a day, or week or a month. Eventually through trial and error, I found edging and limiting ejaculating to a few times a week much more satisfying than anything else.  Still, the body changes as you age and orgasms seem much less important than they used to be; I suppose the production of semen lessens - no more "blue balls," no more "pre-cum." no more pressure to have an orgasm and ejaculate.  Now at the advanced age of 86 I probably masturbate more than I ever did but I don't find it particularly "sexy," just a very nice feeling and very relaxing.
