When I was much younger, so 8 or 9, my favourite books and films were the Ostwind series about Mika and Ostwind, the horse at her Grandmother's horse farm. I had no chance of my own horse, let alone learning to ride, so one wet summer day I built my own horse out of pillows and cushions and an old blanket in my room. I used to create stories in my mind and in one story I needed to ride very fast to get help, so I pretended to gallop.
