The certificate that enables secure communication between your browser and The Curious Hotel has expired.

The consequence is that every browser will scream and complain that the connection is not secure.
(Browsers are extremely anal about stuff like this)

The fact is that if you enable an exception in your browser, the communication between you and the Curious Hotel will still be encrypted and secure.

Site certificates for secure communication has a start date and an end date.
We are now unfortunately past the end date.

Work is in progress to rectify the situation.

QuoteWhat's a certificate?

Consumers care about their personal identifiable information.

If your website looks unsafe, visitors will not log in or enter any sensitive information.
This is where Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates provided by SSL/TLS certificate providers come into play.
A certificate is an attachment to an electronic document that allows the safe transfer of information over the internet.
Certificates are used by web browsers and mail and texting apps.

When you communicate with a secure site, the information exchanged with the site is encrypted. This protects your login information, credit card numbers, addresses and other secure data.

Credit cards and home address are not part of the hotel requirements when registering, and many usernames and emails used when registering at the hotel are fake.

I messaged you because there should be a free option in your server account. It also renews automatically and if on occasions that were to fail, then a manual renewal takes just one click.

I can NOT find a free option, I have done the best I could and I don't if I have done that properly.

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS -
Quotecurious.pinkhotelgroup.com: The AutoSSL certificate expires on Sep 8, 2024 at 12:00:00 AM UTC. At the time of this notice, the certificate expired -2 days, 16 hours, 7 minutes, and 44 seconds ago.

AutoSSL did not renew the certificate for "curious.pinkhotelgroup.com". You must take action to keep this site secure.

The "cPanel" AutoSSL provider could not renew the SSL certificate without a reduction of coverage because of the following problems:
curious.pinkhotelgroup.com (checked on Sep 10, 2024 at 7:52:10 AM UTC)

DNS DCV: (XID pwe54r) The system failed to create the file "/home/eyajsrgf/.cpanel/Cpanel_SSL_DCV_DNS_Mutex.lock" (as EUID: 1499, EGID: 1503 1503) because of the following error: Disk quota exceeded; HTTP DCV: The system failed to create the temporary file "/home/eyajsrgf/public_html/curious/.well-known/pki-validation/91B5EDF17DCF106580A85672873A6CB8.txt" because of an error: Disk quota exceeded

For the most current status, navigate to the "SSL/TLS Status" interface. You can also exclude domains from future renewal attempts, which would cease future notifications.

The following domains lost SSL coverage when the certificate expired:

    curious.pinkhotelgroup.com
    www.curious.pinkhotelgroup.com

The certificate that is installed on this website contains the following properties:
Expiration:    Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 12:00:00 AM UTC
Domain Names:
curious.pinkhotelgroup.com
www.curious.pinkhotelgroup.com
Subject:
commonName    curious.pinkhotelgroup.com
Issuer:
countryName    US
stateOrProvinceName    TX
localityName    Houston
organizationName    cPanel, Inc.
commonName    cPanel, Inc. Certification Authority

To upgrade to an EV or OV certificate, navigate to the "SSL/TLS Wizard" interface.

The system generated this notice on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 7:52:15 AM UTC.

You can disable the "AutoSSL cannot request a certificate because all of the website's domains have failed DCV (Domain Control Validation)."
type of notification through the cPanel interface:

However left you in the lurch by walking away and not ensuring you can run it independently of him is a low-life. A pathetic one, at that.

I suggest to call the server providers helpline and explain the situation, proving you are the owner and getting them to explain why they took payment for the SSL and then have posted such messages.

Also get from them, the account login credentials so you can access the cPanel account and al accounts (pink and curious) on it.

The error message states: "...because of an error: Disk quota exceeded"

It might seem that you have either to prune the files on the disk (not recommended if you don't know exactly what you are doing) or get support to increase your disk quota.

I agree that Sandra must get the account login credentials so you can access the cPanel account and al accounts (pink and curious) on it. Then she can do a lot more.

I got this in the mail today -
QuoteServer Information

You must have a valid "CSR" (Certificate Signing Request) to configure your SSL Certificate.
The CSR is an encrypted piece of text that is generated by the web server where the SSL Certificate will be installed.
If you do not already have a CSR, you must generate one or ask your web hosting provider to generate one for you.

THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS
