We have had some interesting weather in Scotland.
We have missed the dangerously high temps and had to make do with high 20's.
Then there were the thunderstorms..... Luckily I had just fitted new guttering to the summerhouse.
Then there was more sun, a bit cooler but still gorgeous (for Scotland).
Then there were more thunderstorms..... I got wet (and not in a sexual way).
Unfortunately the only wet pussy was my cat. He didn't have the sense to wait till the rain stopped before jumping at the window asking to get in.
so the moral of the story is:
In wildly changeable weather you should always be prepared for a moist pussy.
 

It's cooled down here now 23C today, I think I'll attempt to do some gardening

Millions more people are to be banned from using hosepipes, as officials warn the latest heatwave could increase the likelihood of drought conditions in parts of England.

On Friday, Anglian Water announced restrictions for over five million customers in the east of the country, meaning people will not be permitted to use hosepipes for watering gardens, washing cars or filling swimming and paddling pools from 1am on Saturday.

However, the company has asked that people "live within the spirit of these restrictions immediately".

I can only remember 1 'Hosepipe Ban' in my many years.
It was so bad that my Granmothers Water Barrel that was always full ran dry and we found 2 dead birds in the bottom of the barrel. They had drowned and were decomposing. My gran watered her vegetables from that barrel.
Best damned Vegetables in town. Always wondered why my gran said don't drink from the barrel.....

Scottish Water now exports water to Englandshire at an equitable rate.
We have LOTS of water in Scotland.
